Advertising Format

Banners
This is currently the most common form of advertising in the Internet advertising industry. Banners are rectangular graphics that are located at prominent positions on web pages and can be linked to advertisers' web site or other specific web pages.

Specification: 468(w) x 60(h) pixels, jpg/gif format, max file size 15k bytes.

Buttons
Buttons are advertisements that are smaller than banners but can be placed anywhere on a page. By integrating the products' brand name or company logo into the button ad, this advertising format is particularly effective in helping advertisers build awareness.

Specification: 120(w) x 60(h) pixels, jpg/gif format, max file size 8k bytes.

Banner ads and button ads are often found in the following forms:
(1) Static - They are relatively easy to produce and are generally accepted by all sites.
(2) Animated - Using a series of images, these ads operate like a cartoon and tend to be more attractive to users.
(3) Interactive - These ads allow users to enter data into the ad or make a choice from the ad. Short audio and video clips can also be incorporated.

Super Banners
Super banners are large rectangular graphics that are located at prominent positions on web pages and can be linked to advertisers' web site or other specific web pages.

Specification: 728 (w) x 90 (h) pixels, jpg/gif format, max. file size 20K bytes.

Moving Icons
Made up of one or a series of images of the same size, a moving icon always stays within a prominent pre-programmed area to effectively grab the attention of the users. Advertisers can also choose to have the icon displayed a different image upon mouseover.

Specification: 90 x 90 pixels, jpg/gif format, max file size 8k bytes.


Large Rectangle
Large Rectangle shares prominent position in a web page. This is a 250-by-300 pixel box appearing in an article page. The article texts will flow around the ad space, like the newspaper ad. The big size of the ad not only is eye-catching, but also can act as a mini web page that performs many interactive functions and provides an abundance of information.

Below is an example of a "Large Rectangle" ad that appears in the synopsis pages of one of the drama - "Better Halves《金牌冰人》". Users can click on this "mini" web page to get more information that the advertisers want to convey to their potential customers.

Sponsorships
Sponsorship is available for a specific page, mini-site or feature of the site. On top of being an effective means for advertisers to have a successful ad campaign without having to drive a lot of traffic to its web site, sponsorship can often enhance a brand name/product's awareness.

Advertorial
An advertorial is a sponsored editorial that is tailored made to deliver an advertising message. It can be very effective if the content of the advertorial reaches the targeted users.

Skyscrapers
Skyscrapers are large vertical banners that share an extremely eye-catching location on the page. Due to its large size, many different creative and interactive contents are allowed.

Specification: 120(w) x 600(h) pixels, file size 20k bytes.


Video Ad.
Video Advertising is an advertisement converting a normal beta tape TV commercial(max 30 seconds) into a digital format and is streamed to the user before a video clip is being viewed.
